Back to School Websites for Parents

For most parents, getting your children ready for the first day of school can be a bit stressful. I have 3 children in school. Ketirah, age 9, is in elementary; Michael, age 13, middle school; and Jonathan, age 16 (YIKES!), is in high school. (We interrupt this post to tell to please pray for Toia's sanity. She has two teenaged boys in her house.) It can be a bit overwhelming for me.

I cames across six websites that offer great tips for parents from saving money on school supplies to fashion tips. I am not affliliated with any of these websites listed below. I just think they give parents great information and tips on how to make sure your child is prepared for the new school year.  So, check them out.

Parenting.com - 10 Back to school shopping tips to help you save money.

Sheknows.com - Back-to-School Tricks From Everyday Moms

ParentFurther.com - 10 Back-to-School for Parents of Preschoolers

It's Back to School......Well, Almost!!

August 20th is the day that my children will be returning to school. Summer vacation will officially be over. :(    Even though, they are excited about the first day of school, I hope this transition will be easy for them.

For last week or so, I was handling school business. Shopping for clothes for three children. School registration. Paying School Facts and Fees. (By the way, what facts am I paying for?). Oh yeah, who can forget about buying school supplies?? Open House. Some people may call it Meet the Teacher Night.

When everything is finally done on my to-do list, I can breathe a sigh of relief. **SIGH**

Be that as it may, I am excited for them!! Until then I need to find ways for us to celebrate my children going back to school!! Do you have any Back-to-School traditions that you share with your children?

GRAND RE-OPENING!! WELCOME!!

It's the Grand Re-Opening of Designer's Original Daily Bread!! This blog is basically going to be a daily serving of whatever. That is, whatever floats my boat. I'm looking forward to having fun sharing. I hope you plan on joining me. We are just going to enjoy life one day at a time.

I have about six girlfriends. We all love to hang out. We have so much fun. We do it at least once a month to regain our sanity back from the real world. Although, when in public, people think we are crazy, drunk, and out of our minds because of the fact that we are having so much fun. I am hear to tell you that it's none of the above. It's just plain and simple. We just wanna have fun!!
