Oh No She Didn't!!!.....Oh, Yes She Did!!!

Okay, about two weeks ago, a professor at American University in Washington, DC breastfed her baby while lecturing her class. Yep....you read it right. However, many people are divided on the issue as far as was that appropriate or not.

Me....personally? I think it was inappropriate. I breastfed 2 out of 3 of my children. Even when I was among my family and/or friends, I did not breastfeed my children in front of them. Breastfeeding is a part of life. I get that. Once again, just like I stated in my post about the mom potty training her children in a public restaurant, you have to take other people into consideration. There's a time and a place for everything.

So, please tell me what do you think. Do you think it was appropriate? Or not? My inquiring mind wants to know.

Potty Training at its Not-So Finest

Can you believe it?  I saw this on my local news.....Utah Mom of twin girls bring potty chairs to reataurant. She undressed them, sat them on the potty, order their food, and they ate. There is a time and place for everything.  But, that was not the time nor the place for potty training.

First, let me go on to say that I am a mother of three. So, I know the ups and downs of potty training. There may be times where you are so frustrated that you may want to take it to the next level by any means necessary. But, I don't think that means potty training your little one(s) while at the table in a public restaurant. That's just not sanitary. Not only that, you must take in consideration of other people around you. However,  there is nothing wrong with having potty chairs to your own dinner table in the privacy of your home. (Personally, I would not have done that, but you can do whatever you want inside your own home.)  If this was the mom's way of  getting her daughters to use the potty, she might want to try a different method.

If you are currently potty training your little one and find yourself at wits end, please visit Family Toliet Seat.com for some great potty training tips. So, please no potty training your little one(s) in public.
